Northrop taps new board member

Northrop Grumman has named William Hernandez to its board of directors, raising the number of members to 13.

Hernandez is a retired senior vice president and chief financial officer of PPG Industries Inc. He also served as the company’s corporate controller from 1990 to 1994.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
