PAE taps new VP and deputy general counsel

PAE has tapped the Pentagon’s William Lietzau to be its new vice president and deputy general counsel.

PAE has named William Lietzau vice president and deputy general counsel.

Lietzau joins PAE from the Defense Department, where he served as the deputy assistant secretary of defense for rule of law and detainee policy.

He also served as the deputy legal adviser to the National Security Council, and in a number of uniformed roles within the Marine Corps, the company said.

He brings to PAE experience in national security policy, rule of law capacity building, installation management, international law, criminal law, counter-narcotics, interdictions, and other areas of expertise.
