Lockheed nabs $48M contract to support CDC office
Lockheed Martin has won a $48 million contract with the CDC to provide IT, operational and logistics support services to the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response.
Lockheed Martin has won a $47.7 million contract with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to provide information technology, operational and logistics support for multiple divisions of the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response.
These services will ensure that the office can help the United States prepare for and respond to public health threats and emergencies, the company said in a release.
Lockheed Martin has had a relationship with the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response since 1999.
Under the contract, the company will perform a variety of work, including expertise and services, infrastructure and IT applications, support for the emergency operations division and management support for the state and local readiness division, Lockheed Martin said.
