Still unclear where cloud fits into health IT

It is still unclear what role the cloud will play when it comes to health IT, FierceHealthIT reported.

One line of thinking is that the cloud will be good for doctors and patients collaborating and accessing their electronic health records and other health-related data.

However, as is always the case with cloud, security is an issue, and health records aren’t the sort of thing that you want floating around.
