15 small-biz teams win $22B DHS Eagle 2 awards

The Homeland Security Department has made 15 small-business awards under its $22 billion Eagle II contract.

The companies will be competing with each other in the small business track of functional category 2, which covers IT program support. The contract has a five-year base with a two-year option.

The fifteen winners and Core teammates are:

Ambit Group LLC (contract number HSHQDC-13-D-E2015). Core teammates: Comter Systems Inc. and Teracore Inc.

Arc Aspicio LLC (HSHQDC-13-D-E2016). Core teammates: Data Tactics Corp., E3 Federal Solutions, PPS InfoTech LLC, and the Legacy Network.

CLMS LLC (HSHQDC-13-D-E2017) Core teammates: Savvee Consulting Inc., Consolidated Networks Corp., and Business Management Associates Inc.

eGlobalTech (HSHQDC-13-D-E2018) Core teammates: Everware CBDI North America Inc., MindPoint Group, Nester Consulting, and TechSoft Group.

Federal Working Group Inc. (HSHQDC-13-D-E2019) No teammates listed.

KeyLogic Systems Inc. (HSHQDC-13-D-E2020) Core teammates: Enterprise Solutions Group and Lumark Technologies Inc.

LegalNet Works Inc. (HSHQDC-13-D-E2021) Core teammates: Alpha-Omega Change Engineering Inc. HX5, and Zeichner Risk Analytics.

Total Systems Technologies Corp. (HSHQDC-13-D-E2028). No teammates listed.

Zenetex LLC (HSHQDC-13-D-E2029) Core teammates: Civitas Group, K2 Consulting, Kilda Group LLC and PMOLink Government Solutions Inc.

Ambit and Teracore are teammates on each other’s teams.

All the core teammates are small businesses as well, which was a requirement of the Eagle 2 request for proposals.

The IT program support category includes services such as capital planning, strategic planning, workforce planning, budget execution, performance management, enterprise architecture, data management, information sharing, information security, training, enterprise resource management, business process re-engineering, IT transformation and strategy, organizational change management, and program management office support.

The other functional categories are for independent test, validation, verification and evaluation (category 3) and service delivery such as integration, software development and operations and maintenance (category 1).

Awards in category 3 have already been made, but category 1 awards are still pending.
