Ultra Electronics wins $44.5M Navy contract for engineering, technical services

Ultra Electronics has won a contract with the Navy to support Air Defense Systems Integrator systems, communication systems and satellite communication systems.

Ultra Electronics has won a $44.5 million task order contract to provide the U.S. Navy with engineering and technical services in support of Air Defense Systems Integrator systems.

Under the firm-fixed-price, performance-based contract, the company will support the Air Defense Systems Integrator systems, communication systems and satellite communication systems.

The contract has a base value of $15.4 million.

Work will take place in Austin, Texas, Norfolk, Va., San Diego, Calif., and outside of the United States, and is expected to be completed by May 2016.

Contract funds in the amount of $220,000 were obligated at the time of the award, and will not expire at the end of fiscal 2013.
