BAE names new SVP of government relations

Ruggiero replaces Erin Moseley, who was promoted in February

BAE Systems has named Frank Ruggiero senior vice president of government relations, where he oversee the company’s relationships with members of Congress, the Defense Department, and other cabinet-level organizations and state government leaders.

He replaces Erin Moseley, who was promoted to president of the company’s Support Solutions sector in the middle of February.

Ruggiero joined the company in 2012 as vice president for International Government Relations.

Before BAE Systems, he previously served as senior deputy special representative and deputy assistant secretary of state for Afghanistan and Pakistan for then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the company said in a release.

"Frank has a tremendous amount of experience serving in the highest levels of government," said Linda P. Hudson, president and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc.

"His deep understanding of national security policy and long-standing relationships with government officials will help BAE Systems effectively anticipate the many challenges our customers face in today’s unique budgetary environment,” she said.
