MicroTech adds new SVP, CFO to executive suite

The two executives will help MicroTech work through federal spending cuts

MicroTech has named two new executives in an effort to work through sequestration challenges involving federal spending cuts.

Lynn Wasylina has been named chief financial officer, and Bill Collins has been named senior vice president of Product Solutions.

“Staying relevant and focused on cutting-edge technologies is absolutely critical during these unpredictable economic times. The future is unclear but Lynn and Bill are tremendous additions and their knowledge and experience will be extremely beneficial to the entire MicroTech team,” said MicroTech president and CEO, Tony Jimenez.

Wasylina was previously the corporate controller for PAE. She has also held positions at BAE Systems, PAC and the Economic Development Corp. of Los Angeles County.

She holds a master’s in business taxation from the University of Southern California.

Collins was previously vice president of sales at GTSI Corp. He also worked as field sales director for the Army, Navy and Military Health Systems at Hewlett-Packard.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Radford University.
