TCS partners with mobile communications solutions firm

TCS and Cellcrypt will partner up, address BYOD challenges

TeleCommunication Systems has partnered with Cellcrypt to deliver mobile communication solutions for enterprise and government customers that will provide secure voice call and messaging encryption for smartphones.

Cellcrypt is a provider of encrypted voice calling and messaging for smartphones and tablets, TeleCommunication Systems said.

This partnership is the result of TeleCommunication Systems’ effort to address the threats and challenges arising from organizations increasingly supporting the use of employees’ personal devices for business operations, the company said.

TeleCommunication Systems developed Secure the Edge portfolio, and will be including Cellcrypt’s cloud-based FIPS 140-2 certified mobile voice and messaging encryption in it.

"With the trend of BYOD (bring your own device) in the workplace, the need to secure proprietary information and meet regulatory compliance requirements is now a top IT challenge for commercial and government enterprises using unsecured wireless networks,” said Keith Bhatia, vice president of business development, Commercial Software Group. TCS.

“Combining TCS' experience providing comprehensive wireless solutions with Cellcrypt's expertise in secure voice communications enables security and flexibility for sensitive communications, anytime and anywhere,” he said.
