Wanna be a better contractor? Feds plan small biz event

Focus will be on smalll businesses entering into the federal market

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, or OCC, is hosting the Top Teaming Tactics: What Primes Really Want, a vendor outreach event.

The purpose of the event is to provide technical assistance for small businesses and women and minority-owned business interested in entering or growing their contract opportunities with the federal government, according to a press release.

The agenda for the event is as follows:

1. What primes really want
2. Your “fit” checklist
3. Teaming types
4. Teaming agreements and beyond
5. The meeting and briefing toolkit

The event will also include a structured networking session with representatives from other businesses.

It will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Constitution Center, located at 400 7th Street SW, Conference Center Auditorium, Washington, D.C., 20019.
