Vistronix names new president

John Hassoun will oversee integration of company's latest acquisition

Vistronix has named John Hassoun corporate president, where he will be responsible for the company’s business units and corporate support functions. He will report to Vistronix CEO Deepak Hathiramani.

Hassoun will oversee the integration of Vistronix’s recent acquisition of Technology Associates International Corp., which happened just last week, and will develop strategies and business development programs to promote the geospatial and visualization capabilities that the acquisition brings to Vistronix.

Hassoun joined the company in July 2012 as executive vice president for corporate development. It was part of the company’s strategy to make Hassoun corporate president after the company’s recent acquisition, Hathiramani said.

"Leveraging John's experience and strong strategic focus will help Vistronix break into new, key markets,” he said.

Before Vistronix, Hassoun served as co-CEO of ATS Corp., CEO of Global Integrated Security, and CEO of Olive Group, according to a press release. He currently serves on the board of directors for Aegis LLC, an international security company.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, as well as a master’s degree in human factors, both from Wright State University.
