Catapult hires new BD director

Brian Murphy will find new opportunities within the defense sector

Catapult Technology has named Brian Murphy director, business development, on the enterprise systems team, where he will be responsible for capturing new defense business.

In this role, he will identify opportunities, lead the development of proposals, and buff up the company’s capture strategy by establishing business relationships with teaming partners.

“Brian’s addition to the enterprise systems team will go a long way toward strengthening our customer base and building upon our established presence in the defense sector,” said John Scarcella, senior vice president, enterprise systems.

Before Catapult, Murphy was senior federal business development representative at L-3 Communications. Before L-3, he served as vice president, federal sales, at JRM Resource Management.

He has also held positions at CrossMatch Technologies, ADS Inc., and Allnet Communications, Catapult said in a release.
