Sotera promotes insider to CIO

Rick White, VP and solutions architect, named chief information officer

Sotera Defense Solutions has appointed Rick White as its chief information officer, where he will be responsible for architecting and implementing IT solutions to enhance Sotera’s operations.

He will also lead the development of solutions meant to help Sotera’s customers meet mission-related information and technology needs, the company said in a release.

Before his promotion, White was Sotera’s vice president and solutions architect, where he helped design innovative technology solutions as part of proposal efforts. He also spearheaded the company’s IT team, the company said.

Additionally, White is the co-chairman of Sotera’s Technical Council.

Previously, White was the chief technology officer for Wyle's IT business.
