7 grab final FirstSource II contracts

The Homeland Security Department tapped seven small businesses for the final spots on the $3 billion FirstSource II contract.

Seven small businesses are apparenlty among the winners of the final spots on the $3 billion FirstSource II contract from the Homeland Security Department, the Washington Business Journal is reporting.

The awards come after numerous delays. The vehicle will be used by DHS primarily to buy IT products and related services. It is designed to work with DHS’s EAGLE II services contract.

The apparent Washington areas winners, according to the Washington Business Journal are:

  • iGov
  • FCN Inc.
  • Thundercat Technology
  • FS Partners
  • GovPlace

The contract was originally expected to be awarded in June.
