Microtech taps new SVP of proposals

Sheri Rafeedie has been appointed senior vice president of the proposal division at MicroTech's headquarters in Tysons Corner, Va.

MicroTech has named Sherri Rafeedie senior vice president of proposals, where she will manage the proposal division at MicroTech’s headquarters in Tysons Corner, Va.

She replaces former MicroTech vice president, Bill Lytle, who has moved on to serve as executive vice president and chief information officer of TechAnax.

Rafeedie oversees more than 20 prime task order and government-wide acquisition contract vehicles.

She comes to MicroTech from DKW Communications Inc., where she served as the vice president of proposal development.

In her new role, Rafeedie will be responsible for the full life cycle of MicroTech’s proposals, including positioning to win, business development and capture, the company said.

Rafeedie “has extensive capture and proposal experience ranging from small, disadvantaged, minority and women-owned SBA-certified firms,” said Tony Jimenez, MicroTech president and CEO.

She has over 20 years of experience in federal, state and local proposal development, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Towson University.
