ManTech subsidiary wins $20.5M military health contract

Evolvent Technologies, a subsidiary of ManTech, will provide new development and sustainment support services that add new capabilities to the military's healthcare record application, the AHLTA-Theater

Evolvent Technologies, a subsidiary of ManTech International Corp., has won a $20.5 million contract with the TriCare Management Activity Contract Operations Division to provide new development and sustainment support for the Defense Department’s health care record application.

The application, known as AHLTA-Theater, is a clinical documentation and management application used by the Defense Health Information Management System as the military’s electronic health record for service members, but only those in theater.

It maintains a comprehensive, lifelong, computer-based patient record for any military personnel entitled to Defense Department military health care while in the theater of operations, like Afghanistan and on ships across the world.

Under the contract, which has a one-year base and two option years, Evolvent will add code optimization, database conversion, capability and new feature additions, mobile computing enhancements and code upgrades.
