ManTech International Corp. has received a $16.5 million subcontract from A-P-T Research Inc. to provide risk assessments, inspections and evaluation analyses for the Kennedy Space Center Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate.
The cost-plus-award fee contract has a two-year base and two option years, which would raise the value to $16.5 million if exercised.
ManTech said that the directorate assures the safety and success of all of the Kennedy Space Center’s activities through the development, implementation and oversight of safety, reliability, maintainability and quality assurance policies and procedures.
"ManTech has the requisite ... skills to assist in making their mission successful. Our teams of experts are dedicated to processing flight vehicles safely and exceeding program performance requirements,” said Terry M. Ryan, president and COO of ManTech’s Emerging Markets Group.
The company has supported the center for more than 15 years.
