ManTech wins another task order under S3 contract

ManTech International Corp. has won another task order under its Strategic Services Sourcing contract to continue its support of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command.

ManTech International Corp. has won a $79 million task order to continue supporting the operations of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command’s Software Engineering Center Field Support directorate.

The order, won under the Strategic Services Sourcing contract, is the second task order win that ManTech has announced with the command in two days. Just yesterday, the company won $151.9 million toward information technology services in support of C4ISR services.

This task order has a one-year base and one six-month option.

Under the order, ManTech will assist U.S. forces in achieving their goal of having full C4I system interoperability, both on and off the battlefield, among U.S., allied and coalition forces in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait, the company said.

"C4I interoperability is an important linchpin in the coordination between U.S. and coalition forces," said Louis M. Addeo, president and chief operating officer of ManTech's Technical Services Group. "ManTech is a leader in C4I technology with a long history of support for the Army's C4I programs.”

Services will be provided by field support representatives and subject matter experts, and will include network and communications engineering and installation support, property management, records management, information security, information assurance and maintenance support.
