QinetiQ hires senior VP mission and information solutions

QinetiQ North America has appointed Bruce Feldman senior vice president of the National Systems sector of the company’s mission and information solutions operating unit.

"Bruce comes to the company with more than 20 years of expertise in communications, engineering and cyber," said John Sutton, executive vice president and general manager of the unit.

As senior vice president, Feldman will manage technology development and service delivery for contracts supporting the Defense Department and intelligence community, the company said.

Before QinetiQ North America, Feldman spent 13 years at General Dynamics Information Technology’s subsidiary, GCI Inc., spending six years as vice president of the company’s knowledge resources group and as director of business development, and the other seven years as a program manager and technical operations manager, QinetiQ said.

Before GCI, Feldman worked at TASC Inc. for nine years.

He holds bachelor’s degrees in chemistry from Yale University and electrical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He is a retired lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Air Force Reserve, with active duty tours in the intelligence community and the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, QinetiQ said.
