Deep Water Point's hiring streak continues

Deep Water Point has appointed Kathleen Cowles to its team of principals. This is the third principal appointment that the company has made in the span of a month.

The company hired Tony Pease to the team in the middle of September, and then Martin Cummings near the end of the month.

Cowles previously served as director of corporate and government affairs for LGS Innovations, where she developed and managed the delivery of the company’s government relations plan.

Before LGS, she spent 12 years in Kenya, Egypt and Hungary, working with the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development. While abroad, Cowles worked as a communications and public affairs specialist.

“The opportunity to work for Deep Water Point and this stellar team of people is the ‘next step’ I was looking for,” Cowles said. “Using my background and experiences to guide clients to increased success in the federal market is an exciting proposition.”
