Troy West returns to lead Dell federal

Troy West has made his return to the federal market after a stint running the business in Europe.

West has been named vice president and general manager of Dell Federal. He’ll report to Paul-Henri Ferrand, vice president and general manager of Dell’s North American commercial business.

Joe Ayers, vice president and general manager of Dell’s defense sales, and Jere Carroll, general manager of Dell’s federal civilian business, will report to West.

West left the federal business in 2010 run Dell’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Most recently, he was running Dell’s U.S. public enterprise solutions business.
