12 contractors named to $7B Army services award

Twelve contractors were awarded $7 billion cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts by the Army for software and engineering services, according to an October 4 Defense Department announcement.

The winning contractors are:

  • Science Applications International Corp.
  • BAE Systems Information Solutions Inc.
  • Sotera Defense Solutions Inc.
  • Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems Inc.
  • ManTech Sensor Technologies Inc.
  • Engility Corp.
  • Booz Allen Hamilton Inc.
  • Adams Communication & Engineering Technology Inc.
  • Northrop Grumman Systems Corp.
  • CACI Technologies Inc.
  • CGI Federal Inc.
  • Computer Sciences Corp.

Work is estimated to be completed on Sept. 27, 2017, and will take place at locations determined with each order. Fifteen bids were received, solicited by way of the internet.

The Army Contracting Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

I agree it is odd to list Fort Monmouth, but that is what DOD is listing. Nick

You may want to retract the last sentence in your article above. Ft. Monmouth was closed and most, not all, of the activities and organizations, including the Army Contracting Command, have been transferred to Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. I know, because I worked at Ft. Monmouth and have relocated to Md due to this, along with thousands of others.

The Army Contracting Command is located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. It relocated in 2011.

There is no Army Contracting Command at Fort Monmouth. The Fort was closed September 15, 2011 and remains empty except for a caretaker (contractor) group of some 50 people.
