SAIC wins $56.5M Navy ISEA contract
Company will provide a slew of support services, along with analysis and trade studies.
Science Applications International Corp. has won a $18.7 million contract in support of In-Service Engineering Agent functions for the U.S. Navy’s tactical networks.
Services to be procured include management, sustainment engineering, technical and integrated logistics support; design analysis; and trade studies, meant to address issues of obsolescence, a Defense Department said.
The one-year, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract includes two option years, which would raise the contact’s ceiling to $56.5 million if exercised. Its funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract received three offers via the SPAWAR e-Commerce website and the Federal Business Opportunities website.
Work is to be completed by Sept. 20, 2013, and will take place in San Diego, Calif.
