Unisys scores $504M DHS task order under Alliant contract

Unisys has won a task order estimated to be worth $504 million over the course of five years to develop, operate and manage systems used for risk assessments of people and cargo entering the United States each day, the company said.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee task order was awarded by the Homeland Security Department’s Targeting and Analysis Systems Program Office, under the General Services Administration’s Alliant government-wide acquisition contract.
“This new task order builds upon Unisys’ relationship with TASPO and continues our longstanding presence supporting CBP’s mission-critical systems,” said Steve Soroka, group vice president for homeland security at Unisys Federal Systems.
It has a one-year base and four option-years. The task order expands on the work that Unisys has performed for the Targeting and Analysis Systems Program Office and its predecessor organizations for the past 15 years, Unisys said. Specifically, Unisys will operate, maintain, upgrade and enhance a suite of applications managed by the program office.
The Targeting and Analysis Systems Program Office is part of the Customs and Border Protection Office of Information and Technology. It provides technology solutions that support Customs and Border Protection inspection and enforcement activities, helping the agency protect U.S. borders.
