GDIT nabs $14M Navy C4ISR contract mod

General Dynamics Information Technology has won a $14 million contract with the U.S. Navy to provide a range of logistics and sustainment services to various command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems at locations worldwide.
According to a Defense Department announcement, this contract supports equipment that shares sustainment features, including commercial-off-the-shelf hardware; same geographical areas of operation; and standard requirements for availability, common skills and security clearance requirements.
Work is expected to be completed Sept. 6, 2013, and will take place at the following locations:
- Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan
- Camp Pendleton, Calif.
- Camp Lejeune, N.C.
- Okinawa, Japan
- Dam Neck, Va.
- Tampa, Fla.
- Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii
- Stafford, Va.
- Bahrain
All contract funds will expire at the end of fiscal 2012, the announcement said.
Three offers were received for this task order.
The Marine Corps System Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
