Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control has won a $153.3 million task order contract with the Air Force for logistics support services, according to a Defense Department announcement last Friday.

Services support the Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod system, which, among its other identification, tracking and guidance capabilities, can fire laser-guided bombs from military combat aircraft.

All work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2017, and will take place in Orlando, Fla., at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.

The contracting activity is WR-ALC/GRWKA of Robins Air Force Base, Ga.
