New Directions names executive VP and COO

New Directions Technologies has hired Michele Hoopes as its executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Hoopes comes to New Directions from ActioNet, where she was senior vice president and chief quality officer.

She has a 26-year career in business, working with large and small companies supporting the federal government and commercial businesses. She has held a variety of executive positions.

Hoopes earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from George Mason University.

New Directions is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business based in Ridgecrest, Calif.
