Advisory services capabilities drive small-business acquisition

PESystems Inc. has acquired C2Kinetics LLC, adding to its advisory and assistance services capabilities.

Founded in 1971, PESystems is a service-disabled, veteran-owned business, headquartered in Fairfax, Va. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Both companies provide advisory and assistance services, and have worked together for the past four years under the Professional Acquisition Support Services contract at Hanscom Air Force base in Lexington, Mass.

PESystems’ has provided the U.S. Air Force with advisory and assistance services in the areas of acquisition, program, project, financial and contract management, systems engineering and information technology services. 

C2Kinetics was founded in 2004 and specializes in program management and engineering services support. The company has provided services to the Defense Department, federal agencies and commercial organizations. C2Kinetics also has formulated communications systems programs for the Air Force.

Mark Klicker, CEO of C2Kinetics, will become a senior vice president of PESystems.
