STG names new president

STG Inc. has named its chief operating officer, Paul Fernandes, president of STG as Simon Lee, the company founder and CEO, takes on the title of chairman.

Fernandes will handle the day-to-day operations. Lee will continue to be involved in the high-level strategy of STG, but will focus on global growth strategies and philanthropic endeavors, the company said.

Before joining STG in 2004, Fernandes worked senior management positions across the IT industry. As STG president, he will assume all of the company’s day-to-day operations.

Lee has been president of STG since he founded the company in 1986.
