Harris names new VP of government relations

Harris Corp. has tapped Tania Hanna as its vice president of government relations.

She’ll work with Congress, the executive branch, defense and aerospace industry representatives in the Washington area, and international government agencies.

She has been with the company since 2003 and most recently was vice president of policy and legislative affairs for Harris.

Hanna has a bachelor's degree in international politics from Georgetown University; a graduate degree from the University of Antwerp, Belgium; a law degree from American University; and a master's degree in organizational leadership from Norwich University. She is a member of the board of the U.S. Pakistan Business Council; the National Defense Industrial Association's Women in Defense; the D.C. Bar; and the Federal Communications Bar Association.
