Ohio DOD contractor opens regional HQ in Vienna, Va.

New facility’s goal is to better serve federal contractors, especially DOD and intelligence community.

Northern Virginia has lured another government contractor and new member of the 2012 Top 100 largest federal contractors to establish a local presence.

Dayton, Ohio-based MacAulay-Brown Inc., an engineering and technical services provider to the Defense Department and intelligence community, on Thursday opened its National Capital headquarters in Vienna, Va.

Located on Gallows Road, the headquarters will operate in tandem with Dayton to meet the operational needs of the company’s 20 major offices throughout the United States, according to a June 21 company announcement.

“Our new National Capital Headquarters will enable us to better serve the D.C. region by building strong relationships with customers and partners, and by providing a corporate location for our employees to work and collaborate across the community,” said Sid Fuchs, president and CEO, in the announcement.

MacAulay-Brown Inc ranks No. 97 on Washington Technology’s 2012 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
