B3 Solutions continues management expansion

B3 Solutions LLC, a service disabled veteran-owned 8(a) certified small business government contractor, just announced its third new hire this month, adding John Cornwell as business development director for its transportation sector.

Cornwell, who has more than 25 years experience in strategic system integration, business development and marketing management, will be responsible for growing the company’s business with the Transportation Department and the Federal Aviation Administration, according to a May 22 company announcement.

Cornwell previously was a senior director at Keane Federal Systems, where he was responsible for business development in civilian agencies. He also served as civilian sales director for Micro Focus and also held management positions with Software Alternatives Inc. and IBM Corp.

Cornwell earned his B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Furman University.

Earlier this month B3 Solutions hired Edward Marshall to be its director of the homeland security sector and appointed John Nyce director of its federal services sector.

B3 Solutions, of Jacksonville, Fla., with offices in Alexandria, Va., specializes in cyber security, IT system design and development, program management, supply chain and logistics, and financial and acquisition management services to the federal government and the transportation sector in particular.
