Former Interior official will direct B3’s federal business

B3 Solutions LLC, a provider of information technology, program management and acquisition services to the federal government, has appointed John Nyce director of its federal services sector.

Nyce, who spent more than 35 years in the federal government and is experienced in program management, acquisition, administrative operations as well as in building and facility management and modernization, will be responsible for overseeing the company’s growing business with among others the Agriculture, Health and Human Services and Veterans Affairs departments, GSA and the Office of Personnel Management, according to the company’s May 10 announcement.

Prior to joining B3 Solutions, Nyce served as associate director of the Acquisition Services Directorate, the Interior Department’s large fee-for-service contracting organization, where he expanded the acquisition side of business that obligated more than $2 billion of contract awards annually, the announcement said.

Nyce spent the first 20 years of his career at the Naval Air Systems Command as a program manager for the Navy Electronic Acquisition Office.

He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from George Washington University.
