Former ServerVault CEO takes same post at Clear Government Solutions

John Kraft, a 25-year veteran of the federal and commercial Internet services and infrastructure industries, is the new CEO at Clear Government Solutions Inc., a provider of cloud services to the federal government, an April 25 company statement said.

He succeeds company co-founder Mark Zuckerman, who remains president and CFO.

Prior to joining Lanham, Md., based CGS, Kraft was president, CEO and board member at ServerVault, where he led the company to an annual growth rate exceeding 35 percent, culminating in the company’s successful sale to Carpathia Hosting in 2009.

Prior to ServerVault, he was president and COO of PSINet’s U.S. enterprise and federal division.

He also held senior sales and operational executive positions at MCI Communications.
