Former VA deputy CIO rejoins SRA

Former Veterans Affairs deputy CIO and Computer Sciences Corp. executive Edward Meagher has rejoined SRA International Inc. as vice president of Veterans Affairs and Military Health Programs within the company's health group.

He will be responsible for supporting the strategic implementation of healthcare programs for VA and the Defense Department’s Military Health System.

Meagher has a long history of government service at VA and several other federal agencies.

In addition to serving as deputy CIO and deputy assistant secretary at VA, he also served as deputy CIO at the Interior Department.

He previously worked at SRA from 2008 to 2010, during which time he provided strategic guidance for the company’s VA programs. From 2010 to 2012, he was vice president of strategic health care at CSC.

SRA International Inc., of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 29 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
