Former DC COO tapped to run Privia

Privia LLC has hired Glenn Giles,  former Washington, D.C., chief operating officer under Mayor Anthony Williams, as its new president and CEO.

The company, which made the announcement in an April 23 statement, finds bid, capture and proposal-management solutions for government contractors.

Most recently, Giles served as senior vice president at Waypoint LLC, where he provided capture and program management to the Defense Department and private global systems integrators and aerospac /defense manufacturers.

He also served as vice president of Client Services at EquaTerra and held senior positions at Idea Integration and Ernst & Young LLP.

The author should do some fact checking, as there is no position called "Chief Operating Officer" in the Mayor's office now or ever. As a former employee of the District, it bothers me that this is published without the slightest eye for facts.
