Former SRA president, CEO joins ASI Government board

Public sector consultants ASI Government announced on April 23 the appointment of Renny DiPentima to the company’s board of directors.

The former president, CEO and board director of SRA International Inc., DiPentima has more than 40 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He also serves on several governmental and corporate boards, including a private equity firm which he advises on investments in the government services sector, according to the ASI announcement.

Prior to joining SRA in July 1995, DiPentima was CIO and deputy commissioner for systems at the Social Security Administration, responsible for managing all of SSA's information processing and data and voice communication systems.

Meanwhile, DiPentima served on numerous task forces and commissions, including chairing the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Improvement Team as part of the President's National Performance Review initiatives.

DiPentima earned a B.A. from New York University, M.A. from George Washington University, Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, and completed the Program for Senior Managers at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
