Former Dell Services leader launches new company

A trio of IT industry veterans formally unveiled April 16 their new venture, Spear Inc., and the company’s website.

Richard Pineda, Gino Antonelli and Noel Samuel established Spear in February as a small business that could bring extensive industry experience and expertise to federal agencies, according to the April 16 announcement.

The new company will offer professional IT solutions, consulting and business process outsourcing services to federal clients and business partners.

Spear’s clients will have direct access to the three founders who collectively have more than 60 years of technical and business experience in providing IT and consulting solutions to the federal government, the announcement said.

Pineda, who will serve as Spear’s CEO, previously served as president of Dell Federal services.

Antonelli, who is the company's CIO, previously was executive vice president of business development at Intelligent Decisions.

Samuel is the chief financial officer and previously served as Perot Systems' senior vice president of finance for government services.
