Tribal contractor group names new director

The Native American Contractors Association named Kevin Allis as its new executive director, the organization announced March 5.

Allis worked for more than four years at the PilierMazza, a law firm specializing in helping small businesses in the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) business development program. Prior to that, he was a lawyer at Kollman and Saucier, an employment and civil law firm in Maryland.

Allis is a tribal member of the Forest County Potawatomi Community in Wisconsin and is the chairman of the board of directors of the Potawatomi Business Development Corp.

Sarah Lukin was the interim executive director since 2011.
