MCR makes 3 strategic hires to push for $500M revenue mark

MCR LLP, a McLean, Va., professional services firm that provides program management services to the federal and allied governments, has announced new hires for several key executive positions.

John Cochran was named senior vice president of business development, Kevin Boyle was named senior vice president, general counsel and secretary; and Karen Bertha was named chief ethics and compliance officer.

Cochran, with more than 25 years experience as a sales executive in the IT and management consulting sector, will lead efforts to grow MCR’s footprint in the global professional services marketplace as the company moves toward its goal of $500 million in annual revenue, the company announcement said.

Most recently, he served as senior vice president of business development at NetStar-1.

Boyle will oversee all company legal matters.  He comes to MCR from Vangent Inc., where he managed several acquisitions and dispositions, including the company’s 2011 strategic sale to General Dynamics for $960 million.

Bertha comes to MCR with broad-based expertise in ethics and compliance program management, compliance risk assessment, education and training. She has served as an ethics and compliance manager at The Coca-Cola Company and for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association’s Federal Employee Program.
