Gansler joins TASC board

Jacques Gansler, former Defense Department under secretary for acquisition, has joined the board of directors of TASC.

Gansler also is a former senior vice president of TASC, having worked there from 1977 to 1997.

Gansler served as acquisition under secretary at DOD from 1997 to 2001 and currently is a professor at the University of Maryland and a director of the Center for Public Policy and Private Enterprise.

He also is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the Defense Science Board and the Comptroller Generals’ (GAO) Advisory Board, as well as a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
