Ciber Federal to get new home as CRGT unit

CRGT Inc., a government provider of lifecycle IT services and other technology solutions, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the federal division of Ciber Inc. Financial terms were not reported.

Ciber Federal offers a spectrum of IT services, solutions and support including enterprise architecture, application development, systems implementation and integration, operations support, and security, a Jan. 23 CRGT announcement said.

Ciber Federal has supported the federal government, including customers in every major agency, for more than 25 years.

The Greenwood Village, Colo.-based company has more than 1,000 employees in 45 states and six countries.

The transaction is expected to close within 90 days, according to the announcement.

CRGT is owned by Veritas Capital, a private equity group.
