CACI unveils $189M in intell contract awards

CACI International Inc. revealed that it has won approximately $189 million in previously unannounced contracts with government clients in the intelligence community.

Without providing specifics about the awards or their number, a Jan. 23 company announcement said CACI is delivering professional services and IT solutions to intelligence organizations responsible for carrying out the nation's most vital and sensitive missions.

“CACI is providing a range of high-value services and innovative solutions in support of the intelligence cycle, including collection, analysis, information sharing, and advanced knowledge management,” it said.

“These contracts draw on and underscore CACI's deep expertise in the key areas of cyber intelligence, counterintelligence, geospatial intelligence, and signals intelligence,” the announcement added.

The contracts were awarded in the second quarter of CACI's 2012 fiscal year, which ended December 31, 2011.

"CACI's recent contract wins continue our momentum in growing our intelligence business, which is a foundational part of who we are as a company and now comprises 43 percent of our revenue,” CACI President of U.S. Operations Dan Allen said in the announcement.

CACI International, of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 14 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
