DLT adds new EVP for sales

DLT Solutions has added a new executive vice president of sales as it continues its strategy of becoming a board-based, value-added reseller and solutions provider.

Terri Allen will lead DLT’s customer-facing and vendor-centric sales activities. She most recently was an executive vice president and a member of the board of CPA Global, a legal outsourcing company.

“After significant efforts searching the market for the optimal candidate, we are pleased to find the right mix of experience, sector knowledge, business savvy and leadership qualities in Terri,” said Rick Marcotte, president and CEO of DLT Solutions.

DLT’s hiring strategy is focused on bringing on people who can manage and lead more complex projects and opportunities that need careful planning and execution, Marcotte said.

Allen has also been active in the technology sector for years and was a member of Women in Technology, AFCEA, and the Cisco Systems Executive Partner Advisory Council.

Allen's previous work includes 20 years at Xerox, where she became vice president and general manager of the Carolinas. She also worked at Cloakware.

This is the second strategic hire of the year for DLT. In May, the company hired David Blankenhorn as its chief cloud technologist and a member of the company’s senior management team. He leads the DLT Cloud Advisory Group.
