NCI names new CFO as incumbent becomes president

The former CGI executive was instrumental in the financial integration of Stanley Inc. after its acquisition by CGI in 2010.

Lucas Narel will become executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of NCI Inc. on January 1, 2012, the company announced.

He will manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including corporate accounting, strategic financial planning, income taxes and corporate
treasury.

Narel, who has more than 13 years of finance and executive experience in the government IT services sector, will succeed Brian Clark, who assumes his new role as company president on that date.

Clark previously was executive vice president, CFO and treasurer at Stanley Inc.

Prior to joining NCI, Narel was vice president of finance at CGI Federal, a subsidiary of CGI Group. He oversaw the financial integration of CGI’s $1.1 billion acquisition of Stanley in August 2010.

Narel had served as Stanley’s vice president and corporate controller.

NCI Inc., of Reston, Va., ranks No. 50 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
