QinetiQ NA to support IT apps at GSA buildings service

Contractor will address GSA's Public Buildings applications

QinetiQ North America has won a five-year contract to support the General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service that has a maximum potential value of $41 million.

The award calls for QinetiQ North America specifically to address the Public Buildings Service’s Occupancy and Revenue Management Applications, key components of GSA's IT platform for managing assets, providing accurate billing and forecasting information, and ensuring financial transparency and accountability, an Oct. 6 company announcement said.

Under the contract, QinetiQ NA will use its expertise to upgrade the four IT applications already in use: the Occupancy Agreement Tool, OA Billing, Rent Estimate and Appraisal Data Systems.

Specific services will include technical expertise in Java J2EE, the Windows application .NET, database work, mission support and program management including overall operations and maintenance.

QinetiQ Group PLC, of McLean, Va., ranks No. 43 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
