CACI wraps up purchase of Oracle e-biz services provider

The acquisition will expand the contractor's offerings in the government transformation arena

CACI International Inc. has bolstered its presence in the government transformation arena with the acquisition of Advanced Programs Group LLC, an Oracle Platinum Partner and provider of Oracle e-Business services in the federal market.

The financial terms of the deal, which was first reported last month, were not released.

The acquisition, which was completed Oct. 3, aids CACI in providing solutions that are critical to the mission success of federal agencies, the company said in its Oct. 3 announcement.

APG, of Reston, Va., was founded in 2004 and has 110 employees. Its revenue in calendar year 2010 was $41.9 million, according to the CACI announcement.

Services include Oracle e-Business Suite implementations, IT program management, enterprise architecture, and security assistance.

The company manages the entire life cycle of an Oracle implementation – including design, configuration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement.

APG has contract vehicles with Defense Department clients and the Interior Department’s National Business Center, a shared service that provides financial systems for multiple government agencies.

Advanced Programs Group’s specialized knowledge of the Oracle e-Business Suite will greatly enhance CACI’s business transformation capabilities, CACI President of U.S. Operations Bill Fairl said in the announcement.

CACI International Inc., of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 14 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
