SAIC gains 6-year life-cycle support contract at HHS office
SAIC will provide a wide range of IT services to the Health and Human Services Department's Health Resources and Services Administration Data Warehouse.
Science Applications International Corp. will provide a wide range of IT services to the Health and Human Services Department under a six-year contract that could be worth more than $15 million if all options are exercised.
The single award calls for SAIC to provide full life-cycle operations, maintenance and enhancement services for HHS’ Health Resources and Services Administration Data Warehouse, according to a Sept. 26 SAIC announcement.
SAIC will also provide full life-cycle support for all information technology systems, following HRSA’s enterprise performance life cycle as appropriate.
The data warehouse was created to serve as the official repository of the office’s data and to provide a single point of access to programmatic information, related health resources, demographic, and statistical data for analyzing and reporting on the office’s activities.
HRSA supports integrated reporting and mapping capabilities designed to make the data available to the broadest range of users, for the greatest range of purposes.
The work will be performed primarily in the national capital region.
