CACI completes $61.5M buy of cyberspace solutions provider

Acquisition expands contractor's cybersecurity, enterprise IT solutions

CACI International Inc. has wrapped up its $61.5 million acquisition of Paradigm Holdings Inc., a provider of cybersecurity and enterprise IT solutions and parent company of Paradigm Solutions Corp.

The acquisition of Paradigm expands CACI’s cyberspace solutions offerings to federal civilian agencies, the Defense Department and the intelligence community, CACI said in an announcement Sept. 1.

Plans to acquire Paradigm, of Rockville, Md., were announced in July, but the purchase price was not reported.

The company has approximately 185 employees and its revenue for 2011 is projected to be $55 million.

Paradigm's offerings range from cybersecurity and software engineering to cyber operations that include network security monitoring, designing and upgrading data centers, and managing security and network operations centers.

Major clients include the Federal Aviation Administration; the Defense Information Systems Agency; and the State, Energy and Treasury departments.

CACI International Inc., of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 14 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
