Accenture scores 6M contract from Navy
Federal services company wins award to support Navy's financials

Accenture Federal Services has been chosen to support the Navy's Financial Improvement program under a $5.9 million contract awarded by the Navy, reports the Washington Business Journal.
The firm's task will be to streamline the service's program by evaluating financial business processes already in place and will lead monitoring, testing and the transition to the new processes, the article states.
The firm chosen to improve the Navy's finances is based in Dublin, Ireland, and has more than 223,000 employees working globally.
